Topic1: Learning Possibilities Supported By The Internet

1. Creative Commons Licences

A Creative Commons (CC) license is one of several public copyright licenses that enable the free distribution of an otherwise copyrighted work. A CC license is used when an author wants to give people the right to share, use and build upon a work that they have created. CC provides an author flexibility (for example, they might choose to allow only non-commercial uses of their own work) and protects the people who use or redistribute an author's work, so they don’t have to worry about copyright infringement, as long as they abide by the conditions that are specified in the license by which the author distributes the work.

5 Suggestions of How I Think Creative Commons License Can Be Incorporated Into Training Institutions In South Africa In The Following Manner:

•Graphic designers can use images that have been marked for personal re-use
•teachers may play video tutorials/lessons for learners in class
•Audio lessons may be provided to leaners
•Creative commons license also includes academic materials which may be used in learning     institutions
•Learners may be taught about commons licenses by creating their own work and having a creative license for it which can be posted online.

2. Five Suggestions  On How The Microsoft Learning Website Can Be Improved

  1. Simpler terminology can be used for those who are seeking more information from the site
  2. More learning pictures and videos can be added to the content of the website
  3. Put an introduction on the site so new users can be aware of what the site is all about before even going into detail so as to know whether it is what they were looking for or not
  4. Decrease the web page navigation bar
  5. Make the Live Chat button more visible
