6. Positive Online Behaviour

Online behaviour plays a very significant role in the portraying a picture of the individual by those that know and don't know them.

The following measures can be practised so as to ensure that one's online behaviour is positive and possibly not offensive to others:

  1. Online posting stays there forever, so try and stick to as little offense as possible
  2. if you are a business person, separate your business online account from the personal account.
  3. Instead of going all rated, rather join age marked groups

Marketing Yourself
  1. Update your site as often as you can (preferably daily)
  2. Respond and attend to queries as quickly as possible
  3. Attracting contents and user friendly sites will make more visits by others
  4. Quick links and referrals and allowing advertising of others businesses related to yours will have people visiting your site more
  5. Simple and user friendly site with ease of navigation
  6. Site design, in terms of colour schemes will also make it receive more attention.
